Anil qualified from the University of Sheffied in 1991 and has worked in general practice both in the UK and in Australia, before taking over as principal dentist at High Street Dental Care in 2000.Providing general dental care to all ages of patients with an emphasis on high quality care and devoting the appropriate amount of time to achieve this.He has a special interest in restorative dentistry and dental implants having completed post graduate advanced courses.Certified to provide facial rejuvenation treatments including botulinum and dermal fillers.Achieved Denplan Excel Accreditation since 2009In his spare time, Anil enjoys playing golf, running, learning to play the guitar, and spending time with his family.

Joanne has recently joined us at the practice.Jo graduated first in medicine and worked as a doctor in surgery and A&E for many years, with the aim of becoming a maxillofacial surgeon. Dentistry was a requirement for her career path, so she qualified as a dentist in 2012 before working in plastic and facial surgery for a year. However, Jo enjoyed dentistry so much that she decided to become a dentist full-time.She completed the examinations to become a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, (MFDS) and also completed training in dental implants at Sheffield University.From 2013, Jo worked as an NHS and private general dentist for a few years in Rotherham and Chesterfield, then moved onto private practice in Bolsover, becoming a certified Invisalign provider to straighten teeth discreetly.She enjoys all elements of general and cosmetic dentistry as well as helping anxious patients to accept treatment.Jo lives in the Peak District and enjoys walking, cycling, and running with her husband and two young children. She has two dogs, a cat, three alpacas, chickens, and also keeps bees. When she’s not doing the school run, she has been known to turn up at work on her Honda CBR600 motorbike!

Having graduated from Newcastle University in July 2021, I am passionate about providing good quality general dentistry and really enjoy making a difference for patients. I am always continuing my professional development, prioritising further training to be able to provide gold standard care.Outside of work, I enjoy competing my horses and am currently renovating a house!My understanding approach to dentistry creates a relaxed atmosphere so we can deliver tailored care for each individual.

Paula Lindsay

Paula qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1994 from Liverpool University Dental Hospital and has since gained a wealth of experience working in both NHS and private practices in and around DerbyshireShe calmly and enthusiastically encourages her patients to implement a good standard of oral health. Paula is able to offer her services to those who need simple routine maintenance and to those with more complex needs.Away from dental hygiene, she enjoys swimming and long rambles in the Dark Peak.
